"The Power of Friendship” is the theme of this year’s Kids Fun Zone at the Buffalo National Wing Fest.  Buffalo, known as the “city of good neighbors”, celebrates volunteer friendship with kids’ activities, and information about wellness through mentoring.

Kids’ Zone activities include: 

• "Spin the Wheel” for kids under 12 years of age – a favorite every year!
  
• Stories celebrating friendship and caring – and a book give away to keep or share with a friend!
• Crafts to honor—or give to—friends, and “friendship Bingo”
• Information about mentoring a youth in our community

Compeer of Greater Buffalo’s mission is: “Use the power of volunteer friends and mentors to improve the lives of children, adults and seniors who are striving for good mental health.”  Compeer is coordinating the Kids Fun Zone at Wing Fest this year.
