The National Buffalo Wing Amateur Traditional Sauce Contest will be on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 1:30 PM.
You need to bring all of your own ingredients, mixing bowls, serving trays, utensils and all other items you may need (except chicken wings).
A panel of five local celebrities and sponsor representatives will taste test your recipe. Their decision is final. You will prepare your sauce onstage and then sauce ten chicken wings. Each contestant will then proceed to the judge’s area to show off their decorated tray of wings. Your presentation of wings will be taken into consideration. You will then personally serve each judge one chicken wing each.
One winner will be selected. The winner will receive bragging rights and local and national publicity.
A prize package including a beautiful engraved plate will be presented to each champion.
