Amateur Traditional Sauce Contest

Are your friends and family always raving about your traditional chicken wing sauce recipe? Often feel like you could do a recipe better than a restaurant? Then, it’s time to crown a champion during the National Buffalo Wing Amateur Traditional Sauce Contest. To be considered for participation, complete the form.

If selected to participate, you will need to bring all of your own ingredients, mixing bowls, serving trays, utensils and all other items you may need (except chicken wings).

A panel of five local celebrities and sponsor representatives will taste test your recipe. Their decision is final. You will prepare your sauce onstage and then sauce ten chicken wings. Each contestant will then proceed to the judge’s area to show off their decorated tray of wings. Your presentation of wings will be taken into consideration. You will then personally serve each judge one chicken wing each.

One winner will be selected. The winner will receive bragging rights and local and national publicity.

A prize package including a beautiful engraved plate will be presented to each champion.
